Dhanani Private Equity Group is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced network infrastructure. Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and support complex network architectures including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), and SD-WAN solutions to ensure optimal performance and scalability

Configure and manage network security devices such as firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), and Cisco ISE for authentication and access control

Maintain and troubleshoot network protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IPsec, DNS, DHCP, and MPLS to guarantee reliable data transmission

Implement high availability solutions using load balancing, clustering, SAN (Storage Area Network), vSphere virtualization, and cloud security practices within AWS and Azure environments

Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, PRTG, and SolarWinds to identify potential threats and mitigate risks proactively

Automate network management tasks with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, and configuration management tools like Ansible

Support remote access software, telecommunication systems including VoIP and QoS configurations to ensure secure connectivity for remote teams

Collaborate within Agile teams to support network installation projects, system upgrades, and ongoing network monitoring to uphold high standards of security and efficiency

Required

Proven experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP; familiarity with Cisco routers/switches; Juniper experience is a plus

Hands-on expertise in configuring and managing firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems, VPNs (IPsec), LDAP/Active Directory integration for authentication purposes

Solid background in IT infrastructure management including SAN/NFS storage solutions, virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere or Citrix; cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure are highly desirable

Knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian), BSD variants; experience with system administration tasks is essential

Strong scripting skills in Python or Shell Scripting for automation; experience with DevOps practices is advantageous

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex network issues quickly; experience supporting high availability environments with load balancing strategies is preferred
