Executive Assistant to the President & CEO
California Hospital Association is a non-profit trade association serving California’s hospitals and advocating for better health care. They are seeking an executive-level administrative professional to provide high-level support to the President & CEO, including calendar management, travel planning, and document preparation.
Responsibilities
Model for others our One Team culture and serve as a critical connector
Serve as an ambassador, not gatekeeper, for the President & CEO through relationship building
Assist in making most efficient use of the President & CEOs time
Provide administrative support to the President & CEO
Serve as part of an integrated team in the office of the President & CEO
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of related experience in a professional office setting, with at least 5 of those years as an executive-level assistant
Hands-on experience managing and scheduling for a high-volume calendar
Excellent organization and attention to detail
A positive, team-focused 'can-do' attitude
Ability to work effectively under time pressure with accuracy, professionalism, and a pleasant and helpful demeanor
Strong relationship-building skills
Ability to compose and/or proofread documents, presentations, and reports
Ability to plan and coordinate offsite retreats, events, and meetings
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software tools and systems
Preferred
Some experience in a legislative or association environment is preferred but not necessary
