Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate software use case tests to verify hardware/software functionality

Implement test plans and schedules across all phases of the software lifecycle

Support requirements-based test plan development

Create and track software defects, validating resolutions throughout the release cycle

Apply strong understanding of software development flows and processes

Communicate clearly and concisely, tailoring language to the target audience

Required

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of realted experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience

Degree in engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry; ABET accreditation preferred but not required

Solid understanding of software test processes

Experience developing and debugging software using C and scripting languages like Python

Familiarity with embedded software and hardware

Knowledge of embedded software testing and test automation

Excellent technical writing skills

Preferred

Experience developing embedded software for ARM processors

Familiarity with computer/information security principles

Understanding of memory-mapped peripherals and bus alignment issues
