Responsibilities
Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes for assigned expense areas, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives
Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-range expense planning
Perform detailed variance analysis, including actuals vs. forecast, forecast vs. forecast, and budget vs. actuals, and clearly communicate drivers to stakeholders
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
Partner with business and operational leaders to understand cost drivers, identify savings opportunities, and support informed decision-making
Analyze expense performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve financial outcomes
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including both financial and operational metrics, to support performance management
Support management of recurring expense programs, including forecasting, payment tracking, and process improvements
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, legal, and other internal teams on expense- and risk-related initiatives
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, and strategic projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance, preferably within a large or complex organization
Strong experience with Financial modeling and forecasting, Expense management and cost analysis
Variance reporting and performance analysis
Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint presentation capabilities
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or similar), BI tools, and large datasets
Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Exposure to insurance, risk management, or other regulated or enterprise-level expense categories is a plus, but not required
