Responsibilities
Lead and manage the execution of assigned projects, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget
Manage multiple workstreams and teams while prioritizing changing workloads
Develop and review project plans, budgets, and timelines using existing firm templates and contribute to enhancing and growing content repository
Understand project contracts, manage risks, and support successful delivery
Monitor project profitability, ensuring staffing and resource allocation align with budgets
Track, monitor, and report on KPIs to measure project success and escalate challenges or successes to senior leadership
Oversee vendor coordination activities, ensuring subcontractor and vendor performance meets client expectations and addressing vendor-related issues that may arise
Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively addressing their needs and delivering quality results
Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions related to assigned projects, including managing work plans, timelines, and deliverables
Identify and develop business opportunities, supporting go-to-market strategies and service delivery approaches
Identify market trends and innovations to refine the company’s service offerings
Develop go-to-market strategies by analyzing budgets, agency structures, and leadership priorities
Look for opportunities for collaboration across service areas and markets to strengthen our go-to-market approach
Manage a qualified pipeline and take strategic actions to advance opportunities through each stage of the opportunity lifecycle
Collaborate on thought leadership initiatives, including the development of content and participation in public speaking engagements
Promote a positive culture within the organization that is aligned to the advancement of the Firm’s mission, vision, core values, and strategic goals
Oversee multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and fostering professional growth within the team
Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members, providing feedback to enhance their performance and skills
Collaborate with resource management to allocate resources effectively, ensuring teams are equipped to succeed
Support in the recruitment process
Operate in a dynamic work environment and lead teams through change, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining team morale
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with technology including MS Office applications
7+ years supporting state or federal HHS programs, with experience leading complex initiatives
Hands-on experience with Medicaid, SNAP/D-SNAP, Rural Health, or related programs
Working knowledge of CMS, USDA, and federal HHS funding and oversight models
Experience supporting HHS business development, including solution shaping and pipeline growth
Ability to translate HHS policy and funding requirements into practical delivery approaches
Experience in a management consulting environment, advising senior government leaders on strategy, operations, or program delivery
Has contributed to internal knowledge-sharing on HHS policy trends, federal funding changes, and program innovations
Proven experience developing reusable HHS delivery frameworks, templates, and best practices to strengthen the organization's HHS capability
