As an IT Infrastructure Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in building and supporting servers, networks, and security platforms, while collaborating with technology and business teams.

Responsibilities
Gain an understanding of Infrastructure Engineering
Overview of data Center and remote site design and operations
Gain understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware
Learn how data protection works
Gain experience with Disaster Recovery Strategies
Discover the power of hyperconverged technologies
Gain understanding of network infrastructure both LAN and WAN
Gain Experience securing large production environments
Create documentation to support a global Infrastructure
Develop an understanding of Infrastructure as code
Develop skills in project management and working with international partners
Develop skills required to analyze, operate, and build production environments
Attend meetings between business teams, IT Infrastructure, and help desk teams
Identify and define business questions and associated infrastructure needs
Partner with business team to create actionable infrastructure deliverables and insights leveraging an iterative approach
Create documentation to support a global infrastructure
Present IT Infrastructure deliverables to business partners for review and feedback
Final presentation to leadership team to recap experience
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology with a focus in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance
Completed at least two years of college coursework in Information Technology with a focus in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance
Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
Team player with a 'can do' attitude
Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work with an iterative and incremental IT environment
Preferred
Junior or Senior Status in degreed program
