Responsibilities

Directs the efforts of subordinate managers and professional staff

Creates and/or reviews technical assessments, rough order of magnitudes and high-level requirements for assigned projects

Works with customer-facing organizations to produce final specifications

Collaborates with software and other engineers on developing and maintaining the overall software and related architecture roadmap and vision

Drives execution of solution development through allocation and management of resources

Drives decision-making processes to consensus and ensures that steps are taken to implement the solution roadmap

Defines and monitors the team’s success metrics

Required

BA/BS degree and 6-8 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

2-4 years' leadership experience

Ability to mentor senior dev leads to participate in and support design reviews

Experience in driving design reviews, technical coordination and standards across development leads and architects

Experience in creating and/or reviewing technical assessments, rough order of magnitudes and high-level requirements for assigned projects

Experience working with customer-facing organizations to produce final specifications

Experience collaborating with software and other engineers on developing and maintaining the overall software and related architecture roadmap and vision

Experience in driving execution of solution development through allocation and management of resources

Experience in driving decision-making processes to consensus and ensuring that steps are taken to implement the solution roadmap

Experience defining and monitoring the team's success metrics

Eligibility for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government due to access to export-controlled commodities and technology
