Responsibilities

Assist in developing and customizing the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools like Flows and Custom Metadata

Support integration of third-party applications such as Amazon Connect or Live Vox

Help test and debug code, integrations, and contribute to basic technical documentation

Troubleshoot minor production issues under guidance and assist with implementing fixes

Learn and apply Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and new technologies

Use Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage and deliver code through pipelines to production with team support

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent coursework/experience)

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts from coursework or projects

Familiarity with Salesforce basics (Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud) through internships, academic projects, or certifications

Exposure to Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL (academic or self-study experience is acceptable)

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web services (SOAP/REST)

Willingness to learn modern development tools (VSCode, Git) and Agile methodologies

A collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred

Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, App Builder, or Administrator

Experience with Salesforce data tools (e.g., Data Loader) or CI/CD concepts

Familiarity with Python or other programming languages

Exposure to cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS

Interest in CMS systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager)
