Responsibilities
Have full knowledge of the Crew Leader’s job duties and functions
Act as Crew Leader on the Crew Leader’s days off or whenever the Crew Leader is not available
Assist and support the Crew Leader in the planning of special projects and preventative maintenance programs
Assist shop Engineers whenever needed
Assist Engineering department wherever needed to promote the safety and well being of the guests/Team members and to protect the facility as directed by your supervisor
Maintain shop MSDS book
Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods
Maintain, repair, modify and enhance a product or service or facilities
Evaluate information to repair, maintain, or modify a product or service or facility; and refine or improve or modify systems, products or services or facilities of a department or function
Possess skills to engineer, repair, enhance and modify a product or service or system or facility
Take action to put into use the product, service or system
Oversee and direct others in completion of a task or assignment
Render advice and provide expertise or judgment based on the product or service or system or facility being maintained, repaired, modified, developed, studied, analyzed or reviewed
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
Safety is an essential function of this job
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
21 years of age
Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
High school Diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Driver's License and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy
4-6 years general maintenance experience
Personal computer skills and data entry; general maintenance skills, including knowledge using hand tools and electronic equipment, and time accounting estimating
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
Must be able to lift or carry 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned
Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation
Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts
Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts
Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel
Work in a fast-paced and busy environment
Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke
Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods
