Responsibilities
Define end-to-end IBM OMS architecture including DOM, SIP, Logistics, Supplier Collaboration, Call Center, Store, and Reverse Logistics
Drive assessments across OMS modules aligned with enterprise target architecture
Design integrations with ERP, WMS, CRM, eCommerce, payment, tax, and logistics systems
Prepare and review high-level and low-level design documents
Lead technical design reviews and ensure alignment with business requirements
Lead implementation and customization of OMS pipelines, participant models, inventory, order routing, and payments
Guide integrations with internal and third-party systems
Ensure scalability, security, compliance, and performance tuning
Establish and govern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Mentor and guide OMS development teams
Provide hands-on technical support to developers, QA, and business analysts
Promote agile ways of working and engineering best practices
Conduct technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions
Work closely with business leaders, product owners, and IT teams
Present solution options, fit-gap analysis, and roadmaps to senior leadership
Act as the primary technical point of contact across teams
Lead project phases including design, build, testing, UAT, go-live, and post-production support
Track IBM OMS roadmap and manage upgrades
Coordinate with IBM on product issues and fixes aligned to release schedules
Manage risks and ensure on-time delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
15+ years of IT experience with 10+ years in IBM OMS architecture and implementation
Proven experience delivering multiple IBM Sterling OMS implementations for large retailers
Strong knowledge of OMS capabilities and limitations
Hands-on experience with DOM, Pricing, Inventory, Call Center, Store, Supplier Collaboration
Experience with NextGen OMoC 2.0
Strong expertise in Java, Angular, XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP, microservices
Experience with both B2B and B2C implementations
Deep understanding of order lifecycle, inventory, procurement, invoicing, payments, tax, and reverse logistics
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in agile delivery environments
