Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
Payroll Processing and Management, Auditing, and Issue Resolution
Contribute to the development, communication, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance
Support and drive various HR initiatives and projects
Monitor and interpret changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance
Handle compliance reporting, such as EEO-1, OSHA logs, or other government-mandated reports
Manage employee documentation to meet legal and organizational standards
Review and recommend updates to HR policies and practices, ensuring alignment with legal standards and organizational goals
Collaborate with the Sr. HR Generalist to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities
Assist with maintaining the employee handbook, organization chart, and employee directory
Conduct employment verifications and handle related requests
Collaborating with Sr. Talent and Development Manager to ensure smooth onboarding of new associates
Assist with various other HR initiatives such as the Intern Program, Prime for Women, Prime for Young Professionals, and others as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree required
0-2 years of HR experience required
Independence and sound decision-making with minimal supervision
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding client service and the ability to present confidently to senior leaders
Superior attention to detail, task completion, and follow-through
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to respond promptly to urgent matters
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and assignments effectively
A positive, adaptable attitude and a commitment to embracing change
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on building meaningful relationships and communication
A high level of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality, with a strict adherence to privacy standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, PowerPoint, Adobe, Salesforce, and HRIS technologies

Preferred

aPHR certification preferred
Familiarity with the financial services industry is preferred
