Data and Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities
Developing and sharing expertise on how to solve using the cloud tools that have been selected for each project
Developing materials and advising stakeholders on setup, training, best practices, documentation, meta data, as well as getting access to necessary tools/information to execute
Removing technical roadblocks for stakeholders to successfully execute cloud migration
Participate in the buildout of the reporting and technology infrastructure required to support the governance of the end products and solutions
Play an active role with TOS engineers to ensure critical data is available, with quality in the proper platforms with clear SLAs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
Preferred
BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Experience with programming languages & tools such as Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, ADF, Azure Synapse, Azure ML
Familiarity with SAS, Alteryx, PowerBi, Marketing workflows as well as banking datasets will be necessary to support the user community
Five or more years relevant experience in analysis, reporting and data visualization
Experience with at least 1 modern visualization tool (ex. PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy 10, Domo)
Experience leveraging tools for basic last mile ETL and data wrangling
Knowledge of data quality
Experience with standard relational databases (DB2, Postgres, Greenplum, SQL Server, Azure)
Experience with GitHub
Strong communication skills to support business consulting and collaboration with business partners
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Experience working in an agile environment
