Responsibilities
Develop and execute Client's go-to-market strategy across municipal, utility, engineering, and private-sector markets
Lead outreach to regulatory agencies, state and federal programs, water utilities, engineering consulting firms, developers, industrial clients, and ESG-driven corporations
Manage and expand a multi state sales pipeline, helping shape pilot and demonstration projects
Recruit, mentor, and develop a business development and marketing team as the company scales
Work closely with SWIG leadership to advance brand positioning, communications, and strategic partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Analyze performance metrics, forecast pipeline growth, and support strategic planning as part of the senior leadership team
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in water infrastructure, environmental markets, or clean technology sales and marketing
Proven success selling to public agencies, utilities, regulatory bodies, and private infrastructure clients
Strong understanding of environmental permitting, water quality (stormwater, wastewater, etc.) regulations, and state and federal funding mechanisms
Experience operating in a fast-moving, high-impact startup environment
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute quickly and scale effectively
Preferred
Familiarity with the Florida water market preferred; national experience welcome
