Responsibilities

5+ years of hands-on experience in implementation, installation, configuration, customization, and upgrade of DMS/EMS systems for electric utilities or system operators

Proven experience working with industry-leading DMS/EMS platforms, including GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21), GE eTerra, Siemens Spectrum Power, OSI Monarch, or equivalent systems

Strong programming experience in C/C++ and Java, with solid exposure to Oracle Database

Practical experience with database management systems such as Oracle and SQL Server, including basic scripting for configuration, automation, and system maintenance

Strong understanding of power system fundamentals, including Generation, Transmission, and Distribution operations

Hands-on knowledge of network applications, such as Power Flow, Contingency Analysis, State Estimation, Load Forecasting, and related EMS/DMS functions

Experience with SCADA and utility communication protocols, including IEC 101/104, DNP3, Modbus, and ICCP

Working experience across Linux and Windows operating systems in mission-critical environments

Knowledge of control center network security, including redundancy, high availability, and failover mechanisms
