Responsibilities
Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue balances
Apply customer payments to accounts accurately and promptly
Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, disputes, and payment status
Partner with sales, customer service, and operations teams to resolve order, shipping, or billing discrepancies
Prepare bank deposits and assist with cash reconciliations
Maintain accurate customer records, credit information, and collection notes
Assist with month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting
Support audits and provide documentation as requested
Qualification
Required
2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) preferred
