Responsibilities
Lead and support product improvement and design enhancement projects
Design, analyze, and maintain mechanical components and systems
Apply GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure robust designs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering changes
Use Creo for detailed mechanical modeling and Teamcenter for lifecycle management
Apply Six Sigma methodologies to drive quality and continuous improvement
Support manufacturing and product maintenance initiatives
Provide analytical solutions to meet project priorities and timelines
Travel up to 25% as needed to support engineering activities
Work onsite in a collaborative engineering environment on first shift
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
6+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Creo (CAD modeling) and Teamcenter (PLM)
Solid experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Hands-on experience with stamping, fabrication, and non-metallic design
Six Sigma experience with a focus on quality and process improvement
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent teamwork, communication, and project management abilities
Preferred
Experience in heavy equipment or industrial manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturability
Ability to influence product quality and long-term design improvements
