Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the equity research domain
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, investors, and industry partners to foster business growth
Lead sales efforts by presenting our equity research services to prospective clients and negotiating contracts effectively
Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that promote our research offerings and brand visibility
Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
Coordinate with project management teams to ensure client requirements are met efficiently and effectively
Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion
Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and clients
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in business development within the financial services or equity research industry
Strong knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM software platforms
Demonstrated success in sales, negotiation, and strategic planning
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and internal teams
Familiarity with marketing strategies relevant to financial research products
Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
Prior experience with customer relationship management tools and business development strategies is highly desirable
