The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment for etching, interpreting and documenting results, and ensuring safety and project timelines are adhered to.

Responsibilities

Establishing daily etch rates using the weight loss method
Masking Parts
Racking Parts
General knowledge of all chemical processes performed at EMT
Tank Maintenance / Make up
Ability to accurately analyze and interpret test data with the ability to report the test results in a clear and well written manner
Maintain related test equipment and tools in good working condition
Complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required

High school graduate
Etching metal plating experience a plus
Technician must successfully pass certification exam within the first (6) months in his/her position, as required by NADCAP checklist
Familiar with industry codes and standards a plus, but willing to train
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, normal color vision and the ability to adjust focus
