Responsibilities
Delivering expert technical support to producers caring for company-owned poultry
Advising producers on building and equipment specifications
Litter management
Farm sanitation practices
Conducting farm visits to assess and document bird comfort, flock management, and equipment settings
Monitoring bird health and implementing remedies when necessary
Tracking feed consumption
Coordinating feed orders
Timely collection of blood and fat samples
Managing chick placements and catch schedules
Serving as a vital communication link between hatchery, feed mill, and live haul teams
Ensuring compliance with production contracts and all USDA and government regulations
Collaborating with Broiler and Breeder Departments to coordinate weekly chick placements and other related responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
Basic proficiency in computer applications, including email communication, data entry into templates, and simple query creation
Occasional travel required (1 to 5 trips annually)
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend work
