Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure in AWS
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure data systems align with product needs and business outcomes
Optimize data architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability
Partner with stakeholders to define data models and structures that enable analytics, AI/ML, and product innovation
Support ETL/ELT processes and ensure high data quality standards
Mentor peers and contribute to the long-term vision of evolving this role into a Data Architect position

Required

7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields
Strong expertise with AWS cloud services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.)
Proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and cloud-native data platforms
Experience in a .NET environment with familiarity in C#
Demonstrated ability to thrive in smaller, fast-paced environments where adaptability and versatility are key

Preferred

Interest or hands-on exposure to AI/ML tools, frameworks, or applications
Experience influencing or defining data architecture in growing organizations
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for data systems
