The City of Santa Paula is looking for a skilled and solutions-driven professional to join its leadership team as Assistant Public Works Director/City Engineer. This key leadership role will guide major road and utility improvements, oversee the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and provide in-house engineering expertise to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely and in alignment with community priorities.

Responsibilities

Guide major road and utility improvements
Oversee the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
Provide in-house engineering expertise to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely and in alignment with community priorities
Supervise the Streets Division and Permit Technician
Work closely with the Water, Wastewater and Stormwater teams to coordinate projects that enhance daily life for residents
