They are seeking a Summer 2026 Science Intern for their Power Generation Laboratory, where the intern will assist in analyzing and reporting power utility samples while gaining valuable laboratory experience and skills.

Responsibilities
Assists in receiving, analyzing and reporting analytical results for samples obtained from multiple company systems including, but not limited to, boiler water systems, cooling water systems, and scrubber systems; fuel samples, oil samples, and sorbent trap samples
Maintain documentation/computer entry of daily data
Prepare laboratory reagents necessary for lab procedures
Responsible for gaining understanding of compliance with various state and EPA water quality and discharge limitations
Develop understanding of compliance with safety procedures regarding laboratory chemicals including hazardous chemicals
Performs other duties as directed by management
Qualification
Required
Completed freshman year of college with declared major in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related science major
Minimum 3.00 GPA
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
