Responsibilities
Prepare individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1065)
Handle bookkeeping, payroll tax, sales tax, and other monthly accounting tasks
Reconcile client general ledger accounts
Identify bookkeeping issues and recommend solutions
Prioritize workload effectively and manage deadlines
Work independently while maintaining high accuracy and problem-solving initiative
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience, preferably in public accounting
Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
Strong knowledge of accounting practices and bookkeeping procedures
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
Solid tax preparation experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and client service skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Experience with Lacerte tax software
CPA or CPA candidate
