Responsibilities
Handle procurement and payment for goods and non-professional services within the agency’s Small Purchase Authority
Prepare request for quotes, evaluate responses, and assist with award decisions
Submit requisitions for larger purchases requiring Finance & Administration Cabinet approval
Ensure compliance with the Model Procurement Code and agency policies
Maintain accurate procurement records and resolve payment or vendor issues
Qualification
Required
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
Two years of purchasing experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel
Strong organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain structured workflows for efficient and effective performance
Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the integrity of the procurement process
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
