SPECTRAFOR is seeking a Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization (CNV) Senior Consultant to help design, deploy, optimize, and stabilize OpenShift Virtualization environments. The role involves leading VM migrations, configuring storage and networking, and troubleshooting performance issues.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy OpenShift Virtualization (CNV) on OpenShift 4.x
Assess existing VMware / legacy virtualization environments and map workloads to CNV
Lead or support VM migrations using tools like MTV (Migration Toolkit for Virtualization)
Configure and optimize:
Storage (ODF, Ceph, SAN/NAS integrations)
Networking (Multus, SR-IOV where applicable)
VM lifecycle management
Troubleshoot CNV performance, availability, and integration issues
Apply Red Hat best practices for HA, scalability, and security
Create lightweight documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer sessions
Work closely with platform, infra, and security teams

Required

Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift 4.x
Deep expertise in OpenShift Virtualization (CNV / KubeVirt)
Experience migrating VMs from VMware to OpenShift Virtualization
Solid understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals
Linux (RHEL preferred)
Storage & networking in containerized platforms
Ability to work independently in a short, fixed-hour engagement
Excellent communication skills (you'll be talking to architects, not just admins)

Preferred

Familiarity with MTV
Ansible (nice-to-have)
Red Hat tooling
