Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of individual and business federal and state income tax returns
Organize and analyze client financial documents and tax data
Perform basic bookkeeping and data entry tasks using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
Support staff accountants and CPAs with various client projects
Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
Participate in internal training sessions and staff meetings as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Basic understanding of tax concepts and accounting principles
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a professional office environment
Preferred
Junior or Senior preferred
Experience with tax software is a plus
