Responsibilities
Record and reconcile daily cash activity across multiple cash drawers and bank accounts
Complete monthly bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve variances in a timely manner
Prepare and post journal entries related to cash transactions, transfers, deposits, and adjustments
Monitor cash activity and support internal reporting and cash-related schedules
Ensure accurate cash posting and documentation
Partner with internal departments to research cash discrepancies and improve accuracy and efficiency
Assist with month-end close tasks, including supporting schedules
Support additional accounting duties and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting
0-1 years of accounting experience
Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
Multi-entity or multi-location accounting experience
Familiarity with month-end close and financial reporting processes
Experience improving reconciliation processes or implementing efficiencies
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
ERP experience (including Bistrack)
Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data sorting/filtering, reconciliation tools)
