Responsibilities

Oversee signage striping, pavement, and road delineation

Manage engineering and technical stall within the traffic section and sign/signal maintenance crews

Inspect current signal and sign installations to ensure efficiency, necessity and functionality

Manage signs, signals, roadway lighting and traffic study programs

Qualification

Licensed Professional EngineerCivil EngineeringTraffic EngineeringEngineering ExperienceSupervisory Skills

Required

Must have two years of engineering experience in addition to that required for licensure as a professional engineer

Must possess a valid driver's license prior to employment in this job classification

Must be licensed as a professional engineer by the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors OR must be licensed in another state with the ability to obtain a Professional Engineering license from the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors within the employee's initial six month probationary period

Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification
