Responsibilities

Confirms quality using hand held Measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, depth gage, gage blocks, Trimos height gages, etc )

Confirms quality using Programmable measuring equipment (CMM)

Understands tolerances and which resolution gages to use to gather accurate results

Interprets and understands blueprints and GD&T callouts

Perform First piece inspections

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Understand how to retrieve prints. Fcd forms & inspection checklist

Records labor on Hour by Hour sheets, KPI boards or other assigned places

Follows all work shop & safety rules

Performs other duties as assigned

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years quality/inspection background

Responsible for inspecting parts and detecting dimensional and visual abnormalities using Industry standards while adhering to AS9100:16 principles
