IS Technician – Helpdesk
SGS Consulting is looking for an IS Technician – Helpdesk to provide excellent customer service while servicing client locations. The role involves installing, diagnosing, and solving retail equipment failures, including POS systems and other peripherals, while adhering to service level agreements.
Responsibilities
Service and install computer equipment by analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving problems while providing excellent customer service and meeting service level commitments
Adherence to all compliance processes and procedures
Self-manage workload, overtime, inventory, and all administrative functions
Gain up to date knowledge of all technology, processes, policies, and procedures
Qualification
Required
Must demonstrate strong trouble shooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service, verbal and listening communication skills
Proficient in using computer hardware and software applications
Must be self-directed with excellent follow up and organizational skills
Ability to work in a flexible schedule environment to support hours of operation 24 x 7
Education: Tech School with GED or HS Diploma
THIS IS A FIELD SERVICE POSITION. MUST HAVE OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE
Preferred
Location: We need someone residing in Palm Beach County. Prefer residing mid county. (Boynton to Palm Beach)
