Responsibilities

Analyze customer, SKU, and margin data to identify trends, profitability drivers, and improvement opportunities

Maintain accurate financial cost stacks and evaluate raw material, contribution, and gross margin outcomes

Prepare detailed financial analysis and recommendations to support leadership in making informed commercial and operational decisions

Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting by modeling capacity, operating efficiency, scrap rates, and cost-per-unit sensitivities

Build operationally aligned forecasts that incorporate line speed, shifts, OE%, and production constraints

Quantify financial impacts of mix changes, volume changes, and cost movements

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance analytics, including GP$ walks, variance analysis (price, volume, mix, OE, cost), and customer profitability reporting

Deliver accurate, timely financial reports to support P&L understanding and strategic decision-making

Ensure reporting adheres to GAAP and internal controls

Develop financial models and pricing tools (“what-if” scenarios, quote calculators) to support negotiations, renewals, and new customer deals

Partner closely with Sales to ensure pricing decisions align with margin guardrails, operational capacity, and company financial goals

Provide real-time financial clarity to guide profitable commercial decisions

Enhance financial tools, models, and processes to increase speed, accuracy, and decision support

Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting, margin analysis, and forecasting workflows

Support implementation of improved financial systems and tools to increase efficiency

Work with senior management to evaluate long-term financial strategies, capital investments, and customer portfolio profitability

Build customer lifecycle profitability views and support annual planning of volume, revenue, and GP targets

Challenge assumptions using objective financial data and ensure alignment across Finance, Sales, and Operations

Ensure financial data integrity through strong internal controls, documentation, and audit readiness

Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits

Required

Expertise in financial analysis, cost accounting principles, and margin modeling

Strong ability to interpret financial data, prepare accurate reports, and provide insights that influence company decisions

Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario building

Strong understanding of GAAP and operational cost structures

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally

Advanced Excel modeling and analytics proficiency

Experience working with ERP, financial software, and pricing/margin tools; strong ability to learn new systems quickly

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred

2–5+ years of financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or cost accounting experience
