Responsibilities
Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities
Replace air conditioner filters
Requires maintenance of furnace, air conditioner, boiler, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, mechanical, pneumatic/electronic systems & controls, carpentry & finish skills
Maintain standards of quality guest service
Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards
Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivering an exceptional product through employee development
Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner
Qualification
Required
Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors
Ability to accurately report information
Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures
Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care
Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change
Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development
Conducts him/herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times
Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission
Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally
Actively listens to others
Must have a Missouri Class E driver's license
Must have good mathematical and computer skills
High school education and relevant training and experience preferred
Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds
Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
