Open Rank Teaching Professor or Professor of the Practice in Public Relations

Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including courses in public relations strategies, social media, media advocacy, and data storytelling
Providing leadership for the public relations major
Maintaining industry connections in public relations and strategic communication
Participating in departmental, college and university service
Working with global student populations
Qualification
Required
Graduate degree in Communication, Journalism or a related field by the employment start date
For Professor of Practice, at least 10 years of professional accomplishment in the field of public relations
Strong record of accomplishment in public relations and strategic communication
Demonstrate expertise in the business and creative aspects of the field
Experience with a strong network of clients especially in Boston and New York
Demonstrate interest and experience in new areas reshaping public relations including AI
Prior teaching experience in an academic setting and/or leading industry-based seminars and conferences
Prepared to work with global student populations
