MedTech Strategic Marketing Director

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the MedTech Segment Marketing team, which currently includes one remote-based direct report but may include additional team members as the organization continues to grow in future years
Lead the development and implementation of the annual five-year strategic plan for MedTech in collaboration with the MedTech Segment Leader and your Marketing team
Collaborate with the MedTech Segment Leader, your Marketing team and Sales leaders to develop and execute strategic programs and sales enablement tools to effectively communicate our 'right to win' for specific focused accounts and growth markets, such as electrophysiology and continuous glucose monitors
Utilize primary and secondary research to inform market assessments and strategic decisions
Capture, synthesize and share actionable insights including industry, customer and competitive intelligence
Collaborate with the MedTech segment sales team to support account planning and champion segment needs
Partner with the Integrated Marketing Communications Team to develop sales enablement tools, marketing plans and assets
As the MedTech market and customer subject matter expert, own and develop sales enablement materials in collaboration with R&D, manufacturing and other engineering experts across the organization
Create and maintain buyer personas and customer journeys to guide integrated marketing campaigns
Refine and advocate for the MedTech segment value proposition
Contribute to M&A assessments in collaboration with MedTech segment leadership, subject matter experts and Molex Corporate Development team

Required

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, biomedical engineering or related fields
10+ years of experience in upstream and downstream global B2B marketing, strategic marketing, product marketing, R&D marketing or biomedical engineering within the medical device industry OR master's degree in business, marketing, communications or related fields with 3-5 years of relevant experience
3+ years of experience leading, building and coaching teams
Direct experience with developing, executing and leading 5- or 3-year annual strategic plans and driving the marketing execution components of those plans
Hands-on experience and comfort in crafting impactful messaging and sales enablement materials

Preferred

Experience within the medical device or medtech industry
Track record of developing and executing impactful go-to-market strategies with B2B enterprise customers
Direct experience with primary and secondary research methodologies and data analysis
Understanding of the medtech CDMO industry or how leading medical device companies design, develop and deploy devices
Experience collaborating with medical device R&D and/or Sourcing/Procurement leaders
