Responsibilities

Own the roadmap for key ProsperityEHR product areas (e.g., clinical documentation, treatment planning, automation tools, or interoperability)

Define product vision and priorities aligned with ProsperityEHR’s mission, customer needs, and business goals

Balance feature development, technical investments, and regulatory-driven work

Partner with leadership to make informed tradeoffs and investment decisions

Engage directly with behavioral health providers, clinical leaders, and operational users to understand workflows and pain points

Regularly conduct market research and synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear product requirements

Collaborate with UX and engineering to design solutions that are usable, efficient, and clinically appropriate

Translate product vision into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Partner closely with teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality releases

Lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and release readiness

Support QA in test case definition to ensure alignment to real-world workflows

Ensure solutions scale across diverse provider types and care models

Serve as a product advisor for Support, Sales/Marketing, and Implementation teams to optimize the use of features in defined workflows

Communicate roadmap updates, release details, and product rationale clearly and consistently

Support go-to-market efforts with product insights, demos, and enablement materials

Ensure product features comply with behavioral health–specific regulations (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, ONC Cures Act)

Partner with compliance and legal stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into product capabilities

Contribute to interoperability initiatives (e.g., FHIR-based data exchange, reporting, and integrations)

Define success metrics such as adoption, workflow efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Use data and customer feedback to iterate and improve product outcomes

Champion a culture of continuous learning and customer empathy within the product team

Required

5-8+ years of product management experience in healthcare SaaS or EHR platforms

Experience building products for clinicians, healthcare administrators, or revenue cycle teams

Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence

Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives and competing priorities

Ability to travel 10% of working time, may include overnight/weekend travel

Must reside in one of the following states: MD, PA, WV, CO, NY, WI, NJ, IA, GA, FL, OH, MN

Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred

Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use disorder treatment systems

Expertise with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)

Experience designing or iterating on low- to mid-fidelity Figma designs and interactive prototypes, including leveraging AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma AI, prototyping copilots, or similar) to accelerate discovery, validation, and stakeholder alignment

Experience with content management and usage of standard vocabulary in SaaS products (CPT, ICD10, LOINC, SNOMED, DSM-5)
