Account Manager
Thrive is a company specializing in connecting top biotech, pharma, and medical device professionals with organizations in the life sciences industry. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing client partnerships, expanding relationships, and delivering talent solutions to help clients bring life-changing products to market.

Responsibilities
Build and grow relationships with key decision-makers across biotech, pharma, and med-device clients
Drive new business through outbound prospecting, warm introductions, and leveraging existing Thrive partnerships
Collaborate closely with the recruiting team to deliver top-tier talent and manage the full sales cycle
Consult strategically with clients on hiring needs, market trends, and staffing strategies
Negotiate contracts and placements while ensuring exceptional client and candidate experiences
Track and exceed metrics related to new client acquisition, job orders, and placements
Mentor junior team members and contribute to Thrive’s continued expansion in the Life Sciences space
Qualification
Required
1+ years of staffing or agency experience, ideally within Life Sciences, Biotech, or Clinical/Pharma staffing
Proven success in account management and business development (new client acquisition + account growth)
Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills with a knack for building trust fast
Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to thrive (pun intended) in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
