Talent Groups is seeking an Emergency Management and Business Continuity Contractor to support the successful transition of the client’s program to a higher level of operational maturity and efficiency. The role involves assisting with emergency management initiatives and strengthening organizational preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and ongoing updates of emergency management and business continuity plans, procedures, and protocols

Support the coordination and execution of business continuity exercises and emergency response drills

Create and maintain documentation related to emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts

Assist in analyzing and documenting after-action reports following trainings, exercises, and real-world events

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure emergency management strategies are aligned and integrated across the organization

Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in emergency management and business continuity

Support and implement employee outreach initiatives focused on emergency preparedness and response awareness

Participate in and help facilitate after-action reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement

Support revisions and improvements to Emergency Operations Plans (EOP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to align with current best practices
