Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of interior and exterior areas to identify maintenance needs
Conduct preventative maintenance on systems, including HVAC, pools, saunas, steam, plumbing, and kitchen equipment
Troubleshoot and complete repair projects efficiently and safely
Maintain clean, organized, and safe back-of-house and mechanical spaces
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and communicate timelines clearly
Track and manage repair tickets and update work logs accurately
Assist with equipment setup, replacements, and improvement projects
Support safety procedures, including employee safety training and emergency protocols
Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts; notify leadership when restocking is needed
Collaborate with operations, housekeeping, and hospitality teams to support facility standards
Qualification
Required
Apprenticeship experience in trades such as plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work
2–4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a similar role (hospitality or spa environment a plus)
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and prioritize tasks without constant supervision
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs and perform essential physical duties
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-touch environment with a hands-on approach
Preferred
Certifications such as Certified Pool Operator, CPR, and First Aid are a plus (or willingness to obtain)
