Sales Account Manager
Responsibilities
Execute sales strategies across diverse product lines
Conduct direct outreach to prospective customers and partners through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to generate new business opportunities
Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to different customer and partner segments
Identify and cultivate partnerships with manufacturers and brands, distributors, resellers, retail channels, and other organizations
Manage ongoing relationships with partners to maximize engagement and sales
Explore new distribution and partnership opportunities to expand market reach
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth
Monitor partner and customer needs, providing feedback to internal teams to inform product development and marketing
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across product lines to increase overall account value
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences across markets
Represent the company at trade shows, partner meetings, and customer events to build brand awareness and relationships
Collect and analyze customer and channel insights to refine sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities
Partner with marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and lead generation efforts
Work closely with product and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions
Contribute to CRM management, reporting, and sales forecasting
Provide support for various sales, business development, and account management tasks as needed
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and new opportunities
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and contribute new ideas
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management role
Strong written and verbal communication and relationship building skills
Proven ability to prospect qualify, and close deals
Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
Highly organized with ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and willingness to take on new challenges
