As a Lead 400kV SAP, you will oversee the safe operation and maintenance of high-voltage electrical systems up to 400kV in the onshore renewables sector, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop a team of SAPs (66kV to 400kV) and support robust technical training programs

Ensure efficient planning and execution of HV service activities, including new site connections and first energisation, supported by accurate client reporting

Champion HSEQ standards on-site, collaborate with project managers and engineers for safe execution, and coordinate with supply chain for tools and equipment

Perform SAP duties such as outage planning, switching, and safety documentation up to 400kV. Act as Authorising Engineer when required and mentor SAPs progressing toward authorisation

Lead customer interface through meetings and communications, and support commercial oversight including cost management and budgeting
