Midwest Health, Inc. is looking for dedicated Activities Assistants at Homestead of Olathe Memory Care. The role involves implementing an activity program that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of residents, while assisting in planning and documenting activities under the supervision of the director.

Responsibilities

Assist plan activities to meet resident’s specific needs, to include large group, small group, and individual participation as scheduled

Maintain documentation as required by Kansas and Federal regulations and attendance book

Responsible for initial assessment, picture and front name board

Compose monthly contributions, including the monthly Activities calendar, pass out newsletter, post daily contributions on menu board, date board and pass out nametags

Assist during dining times

Some holiday and or weekend may be required

Assist with staff birthdays by handling cards, balloons as well as resident celebration each month

Additional duties as directed by supervisor
