The role involves coordinating research activities, conducting animal experiments, and collaborating closely with team members under the direction of the Primary Investigator or Project Director.

Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day research activities in adherence to Responsible Conduct for Research (RCR), study protocols, experimental work and applicable data analysis
Conducts complex work under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment; participates in research study initiation, progress and close out
Conduct animal experiments, including but not limited to tonometry, electroretinography and molecular analyses, analyze and present the data
Create and maintain tools and documentation to track study procedures, protocols and metrics, providing weekly updates to management
The position requires close collaboration with other members of the team
Works under the direction of the Primary Investigator (PI) or Project Director
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience
1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience
