Responsibilities
Analyze current pricing structure across the client's product lines (drop deck trailers, aluminum trailers, etc.)
Develop strategies to obtain competitor pricing information despite dealer certification requirements
Compare the client's pricing to key competitors
Evaluate the impact of delivery costs on pricing competitiveness across different regions
Create pricing recommendations based on standardized trailer models provided by the client
Develop a strategic implementation plan for gradual price increases to reach target pricing
Qualification
Required
Direct experience with trailer manufacturing pricing
Alternative experience in trailer dealership environments with understanding of manufacturer pricing models
Knowledge of manufacturer-distributor relationships in pricing structures
Experience with adjacent industries using dealer models (e.g., towable RVs without engines) may be considered
Understanding of quote request processes within dealership models
Ability to navigate complex pricing environments where manufacturer certification is required
Experience developing strategic pricing approaches for industrial manufacturing products
