Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring and addressing incidents/complaints and overseeing the University's response
Work with various departments to investigate and resolve complaints of unlawful discrimination, which includes interviewing witnesses, analyzing evidence, making determinations, producing reports, and, in conjunction with the appropriate administrators, formulating courses of action to address those matters
Interpret University policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal rules and regulations related to EO issues
Compile and analyze data
Maintain accurate and compliant case files and databases
Design and deliver anti-discrimination programming for the University, including delivering ongoing training designed to promote awareness and prevent discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct, including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking
May schedule, plan, coordinate, and organize special events for EOS
May prepare, edit, and produce publications and reports for the office
Manage informal dispute resolution
Perform all other job duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree
3 years of directly related, progressive experience in conducting sexual misconduct/Title IX and discrimination investigations, mediation, restorative justice, and other forms of dispute resolution
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication, including presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Good problem-solving ability

Preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish
Experience with Title VI and Title VII of the CRA, Title IX, ADA/504
Professional investigation experience in a university setting
Juris Doctorate degree
