Sr. Consumer Underwriter

Responsibilities

Will fill as 3G or 3F depending on experience
High school/GED is required; bachelor’s degree is preferred
1+ years in auto finance consumer underwriting (prime, sub-prime, and/or non-prime), or financial services is required
Ability to perform technical based activities
Knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
Demonstrating technical expertise and relationships to supply to strategy and drive business results
Familiar with the Auto Finance industry, consumer credit, trend analysis/analytics
Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills
Must be an independent worker with strong time leadership skills
Limited travel is required (anywhere from once a month to once a quarter)
High school/GED required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
3+ years in auto finance underwriting (prime, sub-prime, and/or non-prime) is required; 5+ years in auto finance underwriting experience preferred
2+ years leadership experience preferred
Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results
Contribute to and manage projects
Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving, analytical, and project management skills
Exemplary dealer relationship management skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
Limited travel is required (anywhere from once a month to once a quarter)
