Responsibilities
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Develop and maintain standard costing systems for raw materials, labor, and overhead
Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile discrepancies across production and warehouse systems
Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to improve cost efficiency
Lead annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasts
Partner with operations to track production costs and optimize margins
Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors
Supervise accounting staff and foster a culture of accuracy and accountability
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and senior management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
Strong background in cost accounting and inventory management
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Preferred
CPA
Food & beverage industry experience highly desirable
