Director of Talent Acquisition

RED DOT BUILDINGS is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to build and lead a high-performing talent acquisition function that supports organizational growth and talent initiatives. This role involves designing recruiting strategies, managing full-cycle hiring operations, and partnering with business leaders to attract and retain top talent.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with business goals and workforce planning
Forecast hiring needs and build scalable recruiting plans to support organizational growth
Create targeted recruiting strategies for critical roles (e.g., skilled trades, engineering, and leadership positions)
Strengthen the company’s employer brand and community presence
Lead and develop a team of recruiters, coordinators, and talent acquisition specialists
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, diversity metrics)
Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to offer acceptance
Implement efficient, consistent hiring workflows and structured interview processes
Partner closely with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria
Ensure exceptional candidate experience at every stage
Build strong pipelines of talent for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles
Develop relationships with trade schools, universities, industry associations, veteran programs, and community partners
Leverage sourcing tools, job boards, referrals, social media, and networking strategies
Implement or optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Build standardized interview guides, assessments, and hiring decision tools
Use data analytics to identify bottlenecks and improve conversion rates
Ensure compliance with EEO, OFCCP, and hiring regulations
Partner with Marketing to create recruiting content, social media presence, career site updates, and job advertising strategies
Promote the company’s culture, values, and opportunities through external events, job fairs, and community engagement
Implement candidate surveys and feedback loops to ensure a best-in-class experience
Work with HR, Operations, Safety, and senior leadership to align recruiting with business demands
Support compensation benchmarking and job architecture to ensure competitive offers
Influence workforce planning and succession planning through talent insights

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
Master's preferred
Progressive recruiting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Experience recruiting in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or skilled-trade environments strongly preferred
Experience implementing or managing an ATS and building scalable recruiting processes
Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, talent markets, and sourcing strategies
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
Strong analytical ability with experience using recruiting metrics and dashboards
Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Expertise in behavioral interviewing, selection methods, and structured hiring processes
Leading a Team: 3 years (Required)
