AAA Auto Club Enterprises is the largest federation of AAA clubs in the nation, and they are seeking a STAR Smog Inspector to perform smog inspections of motor vehicles. The role involves informing members about their vehicle conditions and ensuring compliance with state requirements while maintaining equipment and facility standards.

Responsibilities

Perform Smog Inspections for Club members and the motoring public at Smog Centers in accordance with California State Smog service procedures, laws and Club service quality levels
Inform members through oral and written communications of the condition of their vehicles and smog check results
Maintain facility, diagnostic and smog equipment in proper working order
Ensure the facility is in compliance with Bureau of Automotive Repair requirements for equipment, signage and licenses

Required

Minimum of 5 years' experience in Automotive Repair Industry Required
Must be able to operate a manual transmission
Must have automotive mechanical, technical, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Must have basic computer skills with a general knowledge of the Microsoft Office software products, such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Access
Must be able to travel between Los Angeles and Costa Mesa facilities, once per month
Valid California driver's license and a great driving record required
