The HVAC Technical Support Manager will lead the technical support function and manage the HVAC parts department, focusing on improving service turnaround times and dealer experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the HVAC technical support team
Act as the escalation point for advanced technical and field issues
Build, structure, and manage the HVAC parts department from the ground up
Define parts workflows, inventory standards, and ordering processes
Ensure accurate parts identification and technical validation before shipment
Coordinate with warehouse and warranty teams on parts fulfillment and returns
Develop SOPs, KPIs, and documentation for technical support and parts operations
Train and mentor technical and parts staff to improve efficiency and accuracy
Assist in technical training, dealer education, and internal product training
Maintain high standards for response time, professionalism, and technical precision

Required

Strong HVAC technical knowledge (ductless, multi-zone, PTAC, applied systems preferred)
Hands-on experience with HVAC parts identification, troubleshooting, and service support
Prior experience in HVAC technical support, service management, or parts management
Proven ability to build and manage operational processes from scratch
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred

Leadership or supervisory experience
HVAC certifications or technical education
