Technical Account Manager
Recruitment Design is partnering with a rapidly growing national MSP to hire an experienced Technical Account Manager. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical point of contact for a key client account, bridging the gap between technical delivery teams and client stakeholders, while providing expert guidance and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities
Act as the dedicated technical liaison for assigned client accounts, handling complex requests and providing expert guidance
Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, including senior leadership
Conduct regular check-ins and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) as required
Provide strategic recommendations on Microsoft 365, Azure, security, and infrastructure best practices
Knowledge of Citrix and virtualization in general
Coordinate with internal Helpdesk, Engineering, and Project teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Own escalations and drive timely resolution of client concerns
Track account health, identify risks, and monitor service performance
Identify opportunities for service improvements and account expansion
Assist with Statements of Work (SOWs), scope changes, and project planning
Document account activity, decisions, and recommendations
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience working within an MSP or IT services environment
Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, and security
Extensive experience with Microsoft products (M365, Azure) and Citrix
Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts and building lasting relationships
High-level understanding of SSO implementation and cloud migration projects
Understanding of AI/LLM technologies, including capabilities and limitations
Excellent communication skills – able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Flexibility to accommodate client schedules across multiple time zones (US/UK)
Professional presence for regular video calls with client stakeholders
Preferred
Relevant certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, etc.)
Experience with PSA/CRM tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, IT Glue, or similar)
Prior experience conducting QBRs and developing client technology roadmaps
